* Arrival in St.Petersburg. Transfer to the cafe.
* Lunch.
* The city tour.

* Departure to Petrozavodsk by train.

* Arrival in Petrozavodsk - the capital of Karelia. Transfer to the café.
* Breakfast.
* Going to the island of Kizhi by hydrofoil.
* The excursion around the Kizhi Architectual Ensemble and the historic village of the 19th century.
* Free time on the island.
* Coming back to Petrozavodsk.
* A short city tour. The capital of Karelia - the city of Petrozavodsk was * founded in 1703 by the Emperor Peter the Great to provide support in his war against Sweden (1700-1721). Saint-Petersburg - capital of Russia at that time – dates back to the same year. In spite of its three century history Petrozavodsk remains an eternally young and dynamically developing town.
* Lunch in a café.
* Free time in the city. Transfer to the railway station OR it’s possible to reach the railway station on foot and not to take transfer for the whole day.
* Leaving Petrozavodsk for the town of Kostomuksha by train.

* Arrival in Kostomuksha.
* Breakfast in a café OR tourists can take doggie-bags with them from Petrozavodsk and have breakfast in the train and then when they arrive in Voknavaolok have Karelian breakfast.  
* Transfer to the village of Voknavolok.
* Arrival in the village. Accommodation in wooden houses.
* The bus excursion to the rapid of Kounas (possible to organize fishing).
* Enjoying nature. Coming back to Voknavolok.
* Lunch.
* Free time in the village.
* Dinner.

* The walking tour around the village with the visit to the local museum.

* Visiting the farmstead of the local man. It’s a great opportunity to see the everyday life of local people, to take part in mowing and preparing hay for cattle and sauna, to drink tea with cakes and fresh milk. The host of the farmstead will teach how to make nets for fishing and will tell the story about the life of Karelian people who used to live in Voknavolok.

* Tha walking trip to the nearest village of Pirtiguba.

* Leaving Voknavolok for Kostomuksha by bus. On the way to Kostomuksha visiting the village of Tolloreka.

* Leaving Petrozavodsk for the village of Kinerma by bus.
* On the way to Kinerma visiting the village of Manga (visiting the local chapels), In the village one can still feel much life, talk with local people and enjoy Karelian nature.
* Arrival in Kinerma.
* Lunch (Karelian cuisine).
* Walking around the village with the visit to a chapel. This small 17 house village is a unique complex monument of folk wooden architecture of the Karelian-Livviks. In the centre of the village there is a worship fir-tree grove with the Smolensk Mother of God chapel, built in the 18 century.
* “Black” sauna.
* Dinner.

* Baking the traditional Karelian pies (kalitky) with the hostess of the village.

* Walking to the nearest villages.
